This Oak Edge Grain Cutting Board results from a woodworking journey driven by my dedication and a desire to learn. Amidst the challenges of the pandemic, I embarked on my first woodworking project, exploring the nuances of softwoods, hardwoods, and various grain types. After encountering initial difficulties with warping during the gluing process, I started fresh with an oak edge grain model. Over three days, I cut, pattern-matched, glued, sanded, and rasterized a unique travel quote onto the board- as this would become a heartfelt gift for my mother. The Oak Edge Grain Cutting Board would serve as a milestone that proved to me that I'm capable of crafting things with software and my hands.
